The Perfect Cure for a Cold and Dreary Autumn

Posted in Blog

So the summer is at an end and September is about to give way to a cold and dreary October but take heart...  October means its RumFest time again!

A whole year of amazing fun with rum has passed since I first wrote on the RumFest blog, but as good as the last year was – I just know it’s going to get a whole lot better in the next few weeks.  Now, just so you know – I don’t work for the RumFest team (I write a Rum Blog of my own: TheFloatingRumShack.com) but I’ve been to every RumFest so far (except the very first) and I think I’m as qualified as anyone to help you have a seriously great time at RumFest – so that’s what I’m going to do!

I know I say this a lot, but with every year the event seems to be so much bigger.  This year the event is over three days instead of two, although you’ll need to be a genuine member of the drink industry to attend Friday’s Boutique RumFest prelude.  The main event itself promises more rum brands, more chances to learn about the spirit we love so much, more great food, more entertainment and a whole lot more fun.  It’s almost too good to be true!

If you’ve not done so already, check out the tickets and buy yourself one now – don’t delay or put it off, purchasing in advance will save you money and be one less thing to concern yourself with later.  Getting a weekend pass means that you can really take your time and properly enjoy yourself.  A whole weekends entertainment for just £32...  Seriously good value!

Over the next few posts, I’ll be looking to take you through the various attractions that RumFest will be offering this year and yes I’m excited about it.  It’s the number one highlight of TheFloatingRumShack.com’s 'rum' calendar and I’m sure it’s going to be a fantastic weekend for you too!
