Rum in a "Glass" of it's own.
Giarimi Design introduce the perfect rum tasting glass, developed in
collaboration with Duane Dove, a sommelier with a passion for aged rums and fine
chocolates.
The elegant crystal glass, which we have named “Cane Tulip”
after its engraving inspired by sugar canes, comes in a beautiful box printed in
chocolate brown and gold.
Duane Dove, a sommelier and well-known
figure on the Stockholm restaurant scene, is Sweden’s only cacao farmer! In the
years he has spent working Restaurang Sjögräs he has made the restaurant famous
for its rum- and chocolate-tasting events and Caribbean menus. For some years
now Duane has also operated the shop Small Island Chocolates & Coffee in
Stockholm’s Södermalm district.
Duane Dove has his own cacao plantation – Tobago Cocoa Estate
W.I. Ltd – the only one of its kind in Tobago. There visitors can experience
old traditions and the unique cacao harvest, which will soon become chocolate of
the highest quality. The combination of high-quality dark chocolate and aged rum
is a major culinary experience.
